How This Predictor Works
CTET scoring is beautifully simple, which makes prediction exact rather than an estimate. Every correct answer earns exactly 1 mark, wrong answers cost nothing (no negative marking), and unattempted questions earn nothing. So your final score is simply your count of correct answers out of 150. This predictor compares that number against the official qualifying marks — 90 for General/OBC(NCL), 82 for SC/ST/PwD — which have remained fixed across every CTET session. If the official answer key matches your response sheet, what this tool shows is what your result will say.

Remember: CTET qualification makes you eligible; recruitment is a separate merit-based process. A higher score genuinely helps there — KVS, for example, gives weightage to CTET marks in selection.
If You Fell Short — Read This
A below-cut-off score is information, not a verdict. CTET allows unlimited attempts, sessions run regularly, and everything you learned stays learned. Most successful candidates did not clear on their first try. How CTET Scoring Actually Works
Every one of the 150 questions carries exactly 1 mark, and there is no negative marking — so your raw count of correct answers IS your final score. There is no normalisation, no percentile, no scaling between shifts in the offline exam. This makes self-prediction unusually reliable for CTET: if you match your remembered answers against the official answer key carefully, the number you compute here is very close to what CBSE will declare. Two practical tips for accuracy: first, only count questions you are genuinely sure you marked (memory inflates confidence — when in doubt, count it as unattempted); second, wait for the official provisional key on ctet.nic.in rather than coaching-institute keys, which typically differ on 2–4 answers every session. If your predicted score sits within about five marks of the cut off in either direction, treat the result as uncertain until the final key — those borderline questions are exactly the ones that get revised after the objection window.
💡 What to do with your predicted score
A prediction is only useful if it changes your next week. If you land below 82 (below qualifying), do not panic-buy a new book — return to previous-year papers and find which two sections leak the most marks, because recovering 8–10 marks in your weakest sections is faster than squeezing 2 more from your strongest. If you are between 83 and 95, you are qualifying but not competitive for recruitment shortlists; push CDP and pedagogy sections, where focused revision moves scores quickest. Above 95, protect your level: one full mock every three days, error log after each, nothing new in the last two weeks.
