๐Ÿ”‘ CTET Answer Key September 2026

Official & unofficial answer keys, expected cut-off, and how to check your score

๐Ÿ“Œ Quick Summary

๐Ÿ“… When Will the CTET Answer Key Release?

After the exam on 6 September 2026, answer keys come in two waves:

The official key lets you calculate your expected score before the result, and gives a short window to challenge any answer you believe is wrong.

๐Ÿ” How to Check the Official CTET Answer Key

  1. Go to the official website ctet.nic.in
  2. Click the "CTET September 2026 Answer Key" link on the homepage
  3. Log in with your application number and date of birth / password
  4. Your response sheet and the answer key appear โ€” download both
  5. Match your responses against the key to calculate your score

๐Ÿงฎ Calculate Your Expected Score

CTET has no negative marking, so your score = number of correct answers. Count your correct responses against the answer key out of 150. Then compare with the qualifying marks:

โš–๏ธ How to Raise an Objection

If you believe an answer in the official key is wrong, CBSE allows you to challenge it during a short objection window. You log in, select the question, submit your answer with supporting proof, and pay a small fee per question (refunded if your objection is accepted). After reviewing all objections, CBSE releases the final answer key, which decides the result. Only challenge with solid evidence โ€” random objections waste the fee.

What to Do After Checking Your Score

If your estimated score crosses the qualifying mark, congratulations โ€” your CTET certificate (valid for lifetime) follows with the result. Begin tracking teacher recruitment notifications from KVS, NVS and state schools so you can apply quickly. If you fell short, remember there is no limit on attempts โ€” analyse which sections cost you marks, strengthen those topics, and reattempt. Either way, keep practising: a higher CTET score helps in competitive recruitment. Use our free quizzes to turn your weak areas into strong ones before the next attempt.
